Patricia Marie Quinn (Age 52)
“Patty”
On Saturday, June 16, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved daughter of Richard A. and the late Charlotte Erlenbach Quinn; loving sister of Diane (Lee) Branthover, Richard Quinn (Marge), Irene Ward, Linda (Dave) Lord, Joseph Quinn, Michael Quinn, Teresa (Paul) Friedlander, James Quinn, John (Trish) Quinn and Thomas (Cathryn) Quinn. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 8 great-nieces and great-nephews as well as numerous other family, relatives, friends and colleagues.
Patty had an adventurous life. She was a teacher in the Archdiocese of Washington for 30 years. She taught at St. John the Evangelist, St. Jude, St. Elizabeth and St. Raphael where she was awarded a “Golden Apple” during her 25th year of teaching Catholic education. She was a Youth Minister, a Girl Scout Leader, a Swimming Lesson Director and Instructor at Franklin Knolls Pool. She even sang in the “Folk Group” choir at St. Bernadette. St. Bernadette was the parish she grew up in and where she attended grade school. Her education continued at Eastern MS, Montgomery Blair HS and the University of Maryland. She had a Master’s Degree from Loyola College, where she was awarded the John Wise, SSJ Education Medal. She had so many friends and touched so many people. Her example of caring and love will live on in those who knew her and love her still.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Raphael Church, 1513 Dunster Rd, Rockville, MD 20854, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 3 to 6 PM AND 8 to 9:30 PM. From 6:45 to 8 PM, St. Raphael will have their usual Tuesday Confession and Eucharistic Adoration. While this is not part of the services for Patty, I am sure she would encourage anyone that wanted to participate in that to do so. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raphael Church, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael Catholic School, 1513 Dunster Rd. Rockville, MD 20854. The family will greet guests back at St. Raphael school after the graveside services. At that time there will be an open microphone where people can express their feelings and memories about our “Beloved” Patty Quinn!
MICHAEL J. KALINOCK (Age 46)
Rockville, Maryland – Mike Kalinock, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in his home. Born December 19, 1971, he grew up in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Paul and MaryAnn Kalinock. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Terra Kalinock; his two children, Aidan and Brendan Kalinock; his sister Suzie Kalinock; his three brothers Paul, Dave, and Jeff Kalinock; his uncle Julius (JuJu) Deriscavage; his aunt and uncle Geri and Jimmy Oslar; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A life-long Steelers and Penguins fan, Mike planted similar seeds and nurtured his children’s devotion not only to Pittsburgh teams, but to playing sports as well. He relished his time coaching and helping develop his sons’ athletic abilities. Mike will be remembered by all who knew him for his passion for his kids, and his quick wit. He was born in Los Llanos, Dominican Republic on November 8, 1934 and passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Miami, FL. Beloved husband for 60 years of Rosalia Santiago; father of Alexis Ariel Santiago, Sr. and wife Indira, their children: Alexis Jr. and Angel; Giovanni G. Santiago and wife Tamie, their children: Tiffanie (great grandson – Santana), Brandon and Giovanna; Luis I. Santiago and wife Tara, their children: Alexis and Benjamin; Luis Santiago and wife Sharon, their children: Dominique (great granddaughter – Nyssa), Jasmine (great grandson – Adrian) and Luis; and Ruth Almonte and husband Tomas; their children: Tomas Jr. and wife Julie (great grandchildren – Anthony, Nicolas, Nicole, Isabella Gabriel, and Giovanni) and Tiffany and husband Sebastian (great granddaughter Leia). He is also survived by many loving family and friends. FRANCES HOLCOMB DICKERSON (Age 73)

She is also survived by sisters Carolyn Blankenship and Shirley Skinner, and brother Billy Bryce Holcomb. She lived a quite life and loved music and dancing.
